Jennifer Brogan

Jennifer (Jenn) Brogan works for Wolters Kluwer and has held a variety of executive positions during her almost 30 years in publishing. She is currently the Vice President for Journals Publishing with responsibility for the overall strategic development of the journals and associated digital products for individuals and institutions. Her team manages more than 300 publications covering medical, nursing and allied health specialties. Jenn is a seasoned society publishing partner and also has expertise in publishing award winning targeted, consumer and newsletter publications.

Jenn is passionate about the communication of healthcare information through scholarly publications.  She leads the internal WK Symposium for our journal editors which aims to provide a forum for WK’s association partners and editorial teams to learn and network on key industry developments and share expertise and develop best practice in the management of peer review and editorial process.  Under Jenn’s direction, Wolters Kluwer relaunched the popular online nursing community, Nursingcenter.com, featuring high quality, evidenced based content and continuing education.

Jenn is now keen to bring her experience of networking and publishing to help support the STM Association through its next phase of strategic development.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Marywood University and a Master of Arts from Rutgers and is a frequent presenter or panel participant  at medical meetings on the changing landscape of publishing.
