Ian Borthwick is a Portfolio Development Manager at IET Standards, part of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. Ian previously worked as a Commissioning Editor at Woodhead Publishing, UK, where he set up a successful series of energy reference books. Ian served as the Under-35 STM Board Member from 2008 to 2014, working to address industry developments, to promote good practice, and to engage with junior and middle managers in the publishing industry. Ian is also co-editor of a book on Academic and Professional Publishing (ISBN: 978-1843346692, Chandos Publishing, 2012). |
Early Career Publishers Committee
The Early Career Publishers Committee is comprised of publishers from STM member companies interested in promoting outreach and engagement with entry level and experienced publishers.
Events Terms and Conditions
Cancellation
Where an event has registration fees, cancellations made in writing up to 30 days before an event are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after 30 days prior to the event date, however, substitutions may be made free of charge at any time.
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects.
